IAM Engineer Responsibilities
Manage incidents, service requests, and change tasks in the ITSM system of record, with ownership, and escalations of issues through resolution.
This includes investigating and resolving incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures to enhance the customer experience.
Align with ITIL Change, Incident, and Problem Management practices.
Ensure that all service level agreements (SLAs) are delivered according to specifications / guidelines.
Collaborate with other technical administrators and business partners to drive initiatives for our technology in ways that empower our internal customers and meet their needs, including goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Participate in the IAM audits and review access control reports/metrics, automation activities, and IAM projects and initiatives.
Communicate and educate stakeholders on IAM policies, processes, and best practices.
Collaborate for cross training within the team and support documentation, Knowledge base articles, as well as business readiness & service transition.
Support the day-to-day IAM system and provide end-user knowledge transfer.
Work with internal partners, such as corporate communication, compliance, and security to educate the end users on use of IAM/SSO/MFA tools to effectively socialize policies, standards, and other educational items meant to empower the end user and drive adoption.
Collaborate between the developers and the product owners to drive clarity on "What/need/how/when\xe2\x80\x9d.

Maintaining up-to-day knowledge of identity and access management best practices.
Participate in weekly and daily control meetings.
Work with project teams and business users to create and guide detailed design plans and documentation.
Orchestrate and execute projects or tasks related to data cleanup and data standardization across existing tools and identity systems.
Work with internal customers, business, and external customers to understand access requirements.
Managing user accounts and permissions in the Identity and access management system.
Monitoring user activity, Identifying and addressing Identity and access management issues.
Involved in troubleshooting and initiatives.
Develop and support assurance activities for effective management of Privileged access.
Support audit/compliance research and remediation.
Serves as a subject matter expert for IAM frameworks to support current and future IAM strategy.
Work with leaders and team members at all levels and across functional areas.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related IT field highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication and organizational skills.
Excellent end-to-end troubleshooting skills.
Strong work ethic and team player.
3 or more years of professional hands-on IT experience within the Identity and Access Management IAM domain.
2 or more years of professional experience administering an enterprise IGA/IAM platform such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, ForgeRock, Microsoft Identity Manager, or similar solutions.
Understanding IAM tool for role base access controls and Implement appropriate IT security procedures.
Understanding IAM certifications components.
Working knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and standards, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and RBAC/ABAC.
2 or more year of Working knowledge of SSO, PIM/PAM, AD/AAD, and MFA programs and associated tools in a large enterprise environment.
Experience with Jira/Kanban methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Understanding CyberArk environment and dependent technologies including Password Management, Enterprise Vault, and Central Password Management with the windows and Linux support team.
Experience with administering Active Directory (including Azure AD), MFA, and SSO.
Strong understanding of different types of multi-factor authentication
Experience with REST API integration, management, and working knowledge with: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Apps, PowerBI, ServiceNow ITSM, GitLab, DevOps, SharePoint, Postman, SQL Server management, Visual Studio, IntelliJ, Eclipse.
Experience with designing and maintaining permissions and roles for large enterprise applications such as ERP systems or CRM such as Ellucian Banner, Workday, Salesforce, or Slate. \xe2\x80\x93 No mandatory
Experience with one or more scripting/programming languages such as Bash, PowerShell, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, C #, JSON, .NET to integrate solutions, increase capabilities, identify opportunities, and ease administration where appropriate.
