: Work as a Storage Strategist u2013 a Technical Consultant Lead for Storage and Data Backup environment. Analyse and build strategy around enhancing health of Storage & Data Backup environment / Solutions Be a technical SPOC of Service Delivery for Account Team (Sales, Finance), Work with Solution SMEs, OEM Vendors and Customer to recommend enhancements on Storage, Backup and Hybrid IT environment Plan, develop and communicate effective digital strategies, solutions and action plans, driven by an assessment of Technology environment and future business direction. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and process guidelines to the team members in conducting discovery and analysis. Handle the technical escalations from the team and ensure adherence to the escalation process. Deliver best-in-class solutions to solve customer business challenges. Take part in projects to deliver technical value and expertise to DXCu2019s large customer base, providing technical systems management support, delivering part of a detailed technical design, and/or contributing to the design of technical solutions for customer environments. Work independently or across teams to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships. Participate in a chosen technical community or profession to continuously expand your technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional network. Technical Skills 15+ years of experience in Technology Industry, having expertise in development and execution of a Technology Strategy, preferably in the Service Management / Managed Services industry. Experience in DellEMC, HPE, Pure, Cisco, Brocade SAN Storage and Backup solution deployment & troubleshooting. Knowledge on Enterprise Storage products & Storage management tools Experience in Storage lifecycle management including firmware upgrades, Storage management tools deployment and configuration Candidate is expected to have fair understanding experience on Linux and Windows solution infra. Troubleshoot problems with deployed Storage SAN & Backup at solution level and should have good experience supporting large complex setup. Ability to understand client requirements, suggest possible issues with current setup, present new architectures to migrate from existing setup to new setup with minimum downtime and no loss of data is critical. Good knowledge on Clustering and High Availability Good knowledge on at least one Operating system, connectivity to Storage on SAN, iSCSI, end to end logical troubleshooting approach in a Storage environment. Educational Requirements A bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering u2013 BE, BTECH or Equivalent.
