Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager Introduction: Leading Retail/Investment bank looking to recruit a Consolidation and Financial Reporting techno functional expert to facilitate and maintain consolidation applications within Risk, Finance & Treasury. The selected candidate will contribute to the requirement gathering, process flow definitions, design, architecture and \'lights-on\' support of all the consolidation applications/processes. Additionally, the individual will be involved with all releases, managing and co-ordinating user acceptance testing, change release management, bug fix management, new implementations along with system and process automations. The ideal candidate will have to manage all PROD drops from an application perspective, complying with the transition gates created to ensure a seamless transition from the build to run space. The ideal candidate will be able to bring experience from previous lead Techno functional position(s), with direct experience of end-to-end customer requirement management, proven process negotiation skills, implementation, project execution, problem solving ability to deal with complex situation & exceptional relationship management skills ensuring that strategic key core principles are followed. The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient and pro-active in leading their work and provides a platform for best-practice processes for junior team members. A successful candidate will also show key stakeholder management skills, strong reporting skills (both to senior management/peers) and demonstrate proven ability to take the change process strategy to a new level both within Hyperion and Finance Technology. What will you be doing o Managing Consolidation and Financial Reporting projects from a functional perspective, overviewing end to end technical deliveries, developing solutions and documentation of Consolidation and Financial Reporting applications in Hyperion. o Delivery of key migrations from pre-prod environments to the PROD environment o Implementation on Hyperion Financial Management(HFM) on version 11.1.2.3 onwards o Integration of Hyperion applications with existing processes and cater to regulatory reporting o Optimizing, refining and performance tuning applications, script, processes etc. o Liaising and working closely with the peers within and outside of the team, keeping stakeholders updated on progress against milestones o Highlight and managing risks and issues via effective controls and standard Barclays processes o Enhance and improve the application development capability within the team, via automation and innovation o Working closely with RtB colleagues, building strong working relationships with key stakeholders o Foster an environment of innovation and creativity to provide better solutions for our community o Ensure all development are undertaken with best practices in mind to leave a legacy of sustainable Applications and Solutions. o Producing a series of management information reports showing trend analysis What we\'re looking for: Strong experience in working within a Finance or Technology support team/division. The candidate will demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills and will also have proven key stakeholder management skills, strong reporting skills (both to senior management/peers) and demonstrate the ability to take the change process strategy to a new level both within Finance Technology. Skills that will help you in the role: o Must have expertise in Oracle Hyperion Financial Management(HFM) for delivering and managing end to end consolidation and financial reporting applications implementations. o Must be having very good experience and knowledge in writing HFM rules and optimising the processes. o Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical code for Oracle Hyperion Financial Management(HFM) applications and business system processes o Experience of working in a Finance environment with controls and working day timetable o Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges with the ability to advise, implement and apply the appropriate tools/processes to meet these challenges o Define system strategy develop systems requirements, design, prototype and implement o Excellent senior stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written o Technical background in IT and/or Computer Science or Finance related degree o Experience in Oracle FDMEE, SQL, python and DevOps tools o End to end understanding of the financial close process. o Openness to work on new technologies aiming for faster closure.
