We are currently seeking a Hyperion Planning/ Essbase Expert consultant with DRM/ HFR/ODI to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). G10 - Oracle Hyperion - Functional Expert/ Planning Support lead Day to Day job Duties: .Provide functional/technical expertise to support corporate reporting and consolidation process. .Manage Hyperion Planning, Essbase and FDMEE applications including metadata updates (through classic, EPMA shared library, and/or DRM), data uploads, mapping tables, security and provisioning .Troubleshoot and develop reports in Hyperion Financial Reports and Smart View .Troubleshoot financial statement disconnects to source system(s) .Start and Stop EPM services .Maintain Business Rules, calculation & aggregation script logic, rules and files .Document issues, requests, and changes in ServiceNOW ITIL system Basic Qualifications: .Demonstrated strong analytical skills, problem solving/debugging skills .A good attitude, strong business ethics, an analytic mind, the ability to think on your feet, and excellent customer skills .Be a self-starter with high motivation to succeed .Be a team player with strong results orientation .Knowledge of financial accounting processes, including planning and budgeting .Critical thinking and analytical background .Minimum of 5 years of experience with Hyperion Planning (11.1.x or higher) .Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Essbase (11.1.x or higher) .Minimum of 5 years of experience with Hyperion Financial Reports and Financial Reporting Studio Web .Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Smart View (creating new reports, supporting ad hoc, break fix, etc.) .3 - 5 years of experience with FDMEEFDM .Strong organization skills and attention to detail .Organized and detailed-oriented .5 years of experience with Microsoft Office versions 2010 - 2016 .5 years of experience in a Hyperion support role .2 or more years of experience with leading a team, consisting of global resources .Travel: This position does not require travel. Otherwise requires work from home (internet access, phone access and private location with no interruptions). .Degree: Undergraduate degree in Finance or Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Nice to Have: .Implementation experience with Hyperion Planning and/or Oracle Essbase applications .Able to demonstrate an ability to be an advisor to the client in a functional capacity a consultant to the client and projects in a technical capacity able to design new applications using information gathered up front .Recent working experience with PBCS and/or EPBCS implementations or support .Working knowledge of MS SQL Server and technologies for ETL with Hyperion .Working knowledge with Oracle Hyperion Consolidation products (FCCS, HFM, HCM) .Able to demonstrate an ability to be an advisor to the client in a functional capacity a consultant to the client and projects in a technical capacity able to design new applications using information gathered up front General work requirements - Provide L1 and L2 support for the Application Maintenance engagement which is heavy off-shore and lean on-shore - Before getting into L1/L2 Support, person should be able to participate in Due diligence as needed , take Tranition-in as per the defined process, provide Stead state Service Deivery as per KPIs/SLAs - Oracle EBS support, Hyperion support is considered 12x5 support and be flexible to work as per project need i.e to 1 to 11PM or 4PM to 2AM IST - Demonstrate Positive work attitude & communication in work co-ordination & meetings, status reporting. - To be able to independently work and at the same time, be a good team player to colloborate with stake holders as necessary - Escalate issues to the PM/DM in a timely manner and be associated for issue resolution - To be flexible work in Remote and work from office as directed by Organization leadership
