Job Description

An air conditioning technician installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems. They also troubleshoot issues, diagnose faults, and perform emergency repairs. Responsibilities

Installation

: Install air conditioning systems, including window units, split systems, VRF , and central air conditioning

Maintenance

: Perform routine maintenance tasks like cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating motors

Repair

: Repair or replace defective components like compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats

Troubleshooting

: Diagnose faults and identify problems using diagnostic tools and equipment, should have complete knowledge of VRF system like Daikin, carrier, blue Star, Hitachi brands. Known about electrical panels, AHU kits, and auto sequence panels.

Emergency repairs

: Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs promptly

Record keeping

: Maintain records of the condition of the equipment and provide monthly reports

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Physically active and must have fitness and ability to lift at least 50 pounds
