Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated and dedicated HVAC Site Engineer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start their career in HVAC engineering. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems under the guidance of experienced professionals.Key Responsibilities:
- Site Assistance:
- Assist in supervising the installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to support the integration of HVAC systems.
- Technical Support:
- Review and interpret HVAC designs, plans, and specifications with guidance from senior engineers.
- Assist in performing load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork layout.
- Support troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to HVAC systems.
- Quality Control:
- Participate in regular inspections of HVAC installations to ensure quality and compliance.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, tests, and commissioning activities.
- Project Coordination:
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project schedules and progress, ensuring that deadlines are met.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates.
- Health and Safety:
- Enforce site safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the workforce.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments for HVAC installations.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on safe work practices.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in HVAC engineering.
