Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer proficient in 2D AutoCAD with expertise in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) and Fire Systems design. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to create detailed designs that adhere to regulatory standards and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Development: Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for HVAC and Fire Systems projects using AutoCAD software.

2. Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of HVAC principles, including load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork design.

3. Fire Protection Systems: Design fire suppression and detection systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA).

4. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines.

5. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, schedules, and specifications for construction and installation.

6. Quality Assurance:•Conduct reviews and inspections of designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Design Engineer with a focus on HVAC and Fire Systems design.

- Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD software for creating technical drawings and layouts.

- Strong understanding of HVAC and Fire Systems principles, codes, and standards.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Minimum 2 years experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
