Hvac Design Engineer
Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with expertise in HVAC system design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Design HVAC systems including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Conduct heat load calculations, equipment selections, and ductwork design based on project specifications and client requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into overall building design.
• Evaluate and select HVAC equipment, components, and materials based on performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 - 10 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC principles, equipment, and systems (e.g., air handling units, chillers, boilers, ductwork).
