Human Resource Executive

During the pre-launch and launch phase of the hotel, he/she will help in establishing and implementing procedures and service standards as defined by the company.

• A hiring pipeline and hiring of staff
• Induction
• The Hotel HRIS system
• Training set-up in hotel systems
• Training for the hotel operating software for all staff and evaluation

The objective is to ensure a smooth transition from the project phase to a fully functioning hotel, which will require the person to implement systems set up for the Human resource.

The executive will be the face of the company for most guests. The job responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the recruitment and selection process
• Conducting interviews with the GM and coordinating the same with corporate team
• Creating the monthly GSTS report for the unit
• Maintenance and facilitation of training and training records
• Maintenance of personal records of the employees, PF & ESI formalities, maintenance of leave cards.
• Maintaining leave details by month end and coordinating the same with the Finance Department
• Conducting induction for new joinees
• Training needs analysis
• Day-to-Day HR work like solving employee problems on a daily basis and looking into staffing needs of various departments
• Check on the grooming of each & every employee at the Hotel
• Arrangement of uniforms and badges for the new employees
• Preparation of appointment letters, confirmation letters, appreciation letters, warning letters, termination letters etc. for the employees
• Maintenance of daily minutes of the morning meeting
• Taking care of employee welfare & grievances at her unit & keeping the HM/AHM & Corporate General Manager hotel operations, Human resources & development
• Network with HR functions of other hotels in the competitive set in the neighboring area
• Maintenance of records of employee birthdays & confirmation dates
• Conducting month end staff motivation activities (employee birthday's, customer hero, employee of the month) at her unit in coordination with the HM/AHM
• Maintenance of HR software
• Coordination with consultants, vendors etc. related to the HR function
• Conducting compensation surveys from time to time and recommending salary revisions
• Conducting exit interview in coordination with GM
• Preparing the monthly wage bill
• Preparing pool of database for future recruitment
• Keeping updated with statutory govt rules and regulations
• Conducting ESTS generating reports for the same
• Forming focus groups for resolving issues which are highlighted in the ESTS evaluation
• Maintenance & preparation of training schedule of industrial trainees.

Furthermore, the HR Executive is expected to be involved in the following activities:

o Constantly update his/her self on regular customer preferences, technical knowledge and skills. In addition, to also help new colleagues in climbing the learning curve quickly.

o Co-ordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverages, Front office ,etc

o Suggest new initiatives that the hotel can undertake, that will help increase revenues or guest satisfaction and delight.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
