As a Data Analyst, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data used to drive business decisions.


You report to the Global Quality Manager and provide primary support for data collection, analysis, visualization, and performance reporting within HSSE - Q&R. You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Units, HSSE Q&R Digital Solution Manager, IT, and external partners. Your role is instrumental in promoting data-driven decision-making and fostering a culture of data excellence among stakeholders. You lead data-related activities to provide effective analytical support to projects, ensuring that data standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle


Job description: • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to uncover insights and trends.
• Utilize statistical methods and data analysis techniques to interpret trends, patterns, and relationships within the data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Work closely with the data analytics team to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide periodically reports on key metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators. Identify insights and actionable recommendations to support business objectives.


Contribute to the development and implementation of data quality standards and best practices


Job requirements:
Education Background
Minimum Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.


Experience
Three or More Years of Experience in Data Analytics or Data Science Roles: This should include hands-on experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with Statistical and Mathematical Analysis: Demonstrated proficiency in applying statistical methods and mathematical analysis to real-world data.


• Proven Ability in Using Statistical Analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Explanatory Modeling to Identify Trends: Experience in building and validating models to predict outcomes and explain data patterns.


• Advanced Understanding of Data Management and Visualization Practices: Deep knowledge of best practices in data management, data governance, and creating effective visualizations.


• Experience in Working in the Oil & Gas Industry is an Advantage: Prior experience in the oil and gas sector, or a similar industry, which can provide valuable context and domain-specific insights for the role
