Roles and Responsibilities Development of specifications for hydrogen filling system, storage containers and
Balance of Plant for gaseous hydrogen from pressures 350 bar,700 bar and higher:
Type III, Type IV and upcoming Type V.
Development of specifications for hydrogen storage containers for liquid hydrogen and
its balance of plant.
Knowledge of design standards for hydrogen storage systems
A good background in metallurgy and mechanical design of complex system assemblies
is required for tank mounting structures and selection of materials for high pressure
hydrogen transfer.
Selection and definition of Specification of storage system balance of plant
Interaction with agencies like PESO for approval processes related to hydrogen storage
system and accessories like On Tank Valve Systems.
Design and development of Storage System Architecture based on vehicle type and
range requirements.
Selection of tanks and it\xe2\x80\x99s packaging on vehicle for different applications based on target
range.
Knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, safety and industry best practices.
