Brief Job Overview


The HRIS Analyst will partner with the functional areas of HR and other internal stakeholders in the operation, administration, maintenance, maximization, and overall effectiveness of global HR information systems. The position will partner with various HR teams and business stakeholders to plan, analyze, and prioritize reporting and business process needs. They will fulfill report and data requests and ensure all system configuration is successfully set up and maintained.


Key to this role's success towards all global HR information systems is providing recommendations for system and process improvements to manage data, facilitate workflow in applications, improve efficiency, analyze data, troubleshoot, and utilize technology to meet current and future needs. Manages day to day activities associated with implementation/enhancement and issue resolution of HR technology solutions. This role will also support training on the HRIS, LMS, and other technology systems as assigned.

The HRIS Analyst has the following responsibilities:


• Provide end user support and maintenance of Global HR's technology systems. Assists with improving HR operational processes, including making decisions that optimize the management of HR data across the global organization, implementing new HRIS modules, and maintaining optimal functionality of HR systems (LMS, performance management, global recognition system).
• Coordinates system setup, changes, and configuration with software vendors, as needed. Manages, troubleshoots, and resolves system issues. Collaborates with HR, IT, QA, and other internal stakeholders to address system errors.
• Leads mid-sized to large HRIS projects including gathering requirements, system design, and implementing the final solution.
• Builds relationships with vendors to ensure service performance and continuous improvements in processes. Manages new and existing interfaces and data transfers to and from internal and external systems.
• Develops and delivers routine and ad hoc reports and analytics.
• Partners with the HRIS team to develop process for regular maintenance and audits to monitor/ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered and maintained within the systems. Researches and resolves data inconsistencies.
• Defines and manages all HR system user accounts, including all data migration from HRIS.
• Establishes testing protocols, publishing requirements and maintenance procedures for HR system upgrades.
• Creates documentation for end-user training to ensure the effective utilization of HR systems. Assists with rollout and communications related to new modules and initiatives.
• Keeps abreast of professional development events, seminars, and webinars to stay current in the latest regulatory and technology advances.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.


Who is USP Looking For?


The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:


• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3 years of in-depth experience in implementing/supporting an HRIS or other HR system.
• Minimum 2 years of advanced knowledge with UKG (HRIS system).
• Familiarity with performance management and learning management systems.
• Experience with extracting data, analyzing data, and data visualization.
• Experience integrating UKG with 3rd party systems (Active Directory, LMS, Data Hubs, etc.).
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and translate technical concepts/topics into simple language for non-technical audiences and vice versa clearly and concisely.
• Strong problem solving, project management, time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting; ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability and desire to work well with diverse employees and customers in a cooperative and friendly manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently with accuracy; ability to adjust to changing priorities with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• An understanding of computer hardware, networking, and software applications.


Additional Desired Preferences


• Experience working in a globally dispersed organization preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of payroll, benefits, and recognition and rewards systems.
• Experience managing systems for non-FTE populations (contingent workers, volunteers, etc.).
