Job Summary
The HR Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring blue-collar employees for various roles within the company. This position requires a proactive approach to identify and attract the best talent in the market, ensuring that our workforce needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract blue-collar workers.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, job fairs, and referrals.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future job openings.
2. Screening and Interviewing
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for the role.
- Coordinate and conduct in-person interviews with potential candidates.
- Evaluate candidates based on their skills, experience, and cultural fit with the company.
3. Onboarding
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Prepare and distribute necessary onboarding documents and materials.
- Conduct orientation sessions to introduce new employees to the company's policies, procedures, and culture.
4. Documentation and Compliance
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed accurately.
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations regarding recruitment and employment practices.
- Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment activities and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Recruiter, preferably in recruiting blue-collar employees.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment techniques and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
