Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Hospital/Nursing Home HR to join our team.

Lead the charge in building our top-notch healthcare team. You'll source, recruit, and onboard exceptional talent across all departments.

Must-haves:

• Strong HR expertise (recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training)
• Understanding of hospital/nursing home staffing needs
• Proven ability to develop and execute recruitment strategies
• Experience in streamlining HR operations for efficiency

HR Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:

• Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms.
• Source for qualified candidates through various channels.
• Screen resumes and applications to identify the most promising candidates.
• Conduct background checks and verify references.

Selection Process:

• Interview shortlisted candidates.

Hiring & Onboarding:

• Negotiate and extend job offers to successful candidates.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires.

4. Employee Relations & Development:

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Manage employee relations including performance management, disciplinary action, and grievance resolution.
• Oversee training and development programs for employee growth.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure employee satisfaction.

5. Strategic Initiatives:

• Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including hiring managers, employees, and external vendors.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
• Experience with employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.

6. Department Management:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR role or employee recruitment..
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution, ensuring a smooth and positive work environment.
• Familiarity with HR information systems and software.
