Job Overview:

TechNadu is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment and human resources functions for our remote team, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. You will create job descriptions, conduct phone and virtual interviews, organize tests, plan the hiring process, and handle salary negotiations and payrolling. This position requires a thorough understanding of human resources management and experience in a media company.This is an 8-12 month contract role. Based on performance, this could later be a full-time role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and create job descriptions tailored to specific roles.
• Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate candidates effectively.
• Organize and administer tests to assess candidates' skills and qualifications.
• Plan and execute the entire hiring process, from job posting to final selection.
• Conduct salary negotiations and manage payroll processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of human resources management best practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and department heads to understand hiring needs and requirements.
• Provide timely feedback to candidates and manage the offer process.
• Stay updated on industry trends and employment laws to ensure best practices.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and manage talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
• Ensure efficient HR operations including employee onboarding, record-keeping, and HR administration.
• Develop new policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies and procedures in all HR activities.
• Conduct the End-Year performance review cycle in the organization with confidentiality.
• Monitor employee Daily Activity Report, Time off, Leaves, etc.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback to employees.
• Manage talent management processes, including succession planning and career development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of proven work experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in a media company.
• Experience managing a remote team and ensuring effective communication and productivity.
• Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in using job board platforms and HR management software.
• Ability to conduct salary negotiations and manage payroll processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in India.
• Immediate availability to start.
