Job Role: HR Manager in an Overseas Education Consulting Company

Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Staffing:

o Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the consultancy.

o Conduct interviews and coordinate selection processes.

o Onboard new hires and facilitate orientation programs.

2. Employee Relations:

o Manage employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

o Foster a positive work environment and resolve conflicts as they arise.

o Promote employee engagement initiatives and activities.

3. Training and Development:

o Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

o Coordinate with external training providers and monitor training effectiveness.

o Implement career development plans and succession planning strategies.

4. Performance Management:

o Establish performance evaluation systems and ensure timely performance reviews.

o Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and goal-setting processes.

o Address performance issues and support employee development goals.

5. Compensation and Benefits:

o Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.

o Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.

o Benchmark salary levels and benefits against industry standards.

6. HR Policies and Compliance:

o Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and legal requirements.

o Monitor compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.

o Maintain employee records and ensure data confidentiality and security.

7. HR Analytics and Reporting:

o Compile HR metrics and analytics to assess employee performance, turnover rates, and recruitment effectiveness.

o Prepare HR reports and presentations for senior management.

o Use data-driven insights to support strategic HR decision-making.

• Certifications (Optional): Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR may be advantageous.

Work Experience:

• Experience in HR Management: Typically, 5+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the education sector, particularly in international education or consultancy, is advantageous.
