Job Summary: The HR Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment and Staffing:
• Oversee the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
• Employee Relations:
• Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of grievances.
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and address employee concerns.
• Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Compensation and Benefits:
• Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
• Evaluate and improve benefit programs.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and manage reporting for the same.
• Training and Development:
• Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness.
• Compliance and Legal:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Manage HR audits and investigations.
• Policy Development and Implementation:
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure that policies and procedures are followed.
• Update employee handbook as needed.
• Performance Management:
• Oversee the performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Work with managers to address performance issues and provide guidance on improvement strategies.
• Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of HR management experience.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with HRIS and talent management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
