About the role:
This role will focus on techniques and tools used to contextualise and find out data about competitors, candidates, and clients to help create a coherent strategy for recruitment. The objective of the role will be to provide strong market intelligence that can give TA advisors/Talent Scouts the best opportunity to identify and hire the most skilled candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Building a stronger understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and candidate positioning
- Conducting a thorough research and analysis of the job market including industry trends, competitor hiring practices, emerging skill demands and candidate preferences.
- Will subscribe to portals, newsletters etc. to stay on top of industry and cross industry happenings.
- Monitoring and assessing competitor\'s talent acquisition practices, including their recruitment approaches, employer branding efforts and candidate experiences.
- Gathering relevant data from various sources, such as job boards, industry reports, social media, and internal data bases, to build a comprehensive understanding of the talent landscape.
- Ensuring the data collection and analysis adhere to ethical standards, especially when handling sensitive candidate information.
- Creating clear and visually appealing reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Providing insights to enhance the organization\'s employer brand by understanding how it is perceived in the market and suggesting improvements.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in market trends and insights during recruitment strategy discussions and decision making processes.
- Staying ahead of cutting-edge techniques and tools- Gather market trends on TA technologies and sharing insights with the org TA team.
Requirements and Skills
- Graduate in HR with 10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years in market research, talent mapping and data analytics
- Comprehending the intricate dynamics of the job market and how they impact the organization\'s recruitment efforts.
- Recognizing the supply and demand for specific skills, understanding the competition for top talent and awareness of industry trends that affect hiring strategies.
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent knowledge of statistical packages (SPSS, SAS or similar), databases and MS Office
- Search engines, web analytics and business research tools acumen
- Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc)
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- BS degree in Statistics, Marketing or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence people.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills to work on tight deadlines.
- Ability to multi-task: executing requests, investigating queries, and reporting.
- Ability to work in a team or as an individual to manage own workload confidently.
