The HR Intern will support day-to-day HR activities and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience and organizational effectiveness.Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist in the recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and conducting orientation sessions.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Employee Relations:
Help organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
Assist in addressing employee inquiries and providing support for HR-related issues.
Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
HR Administration:
Support the HR team with administrative tasks such as document preparation, filing, and data entry.
Assist in managing HR communications and distributing internal announcements.
Help in maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Training and Development:
Aid in organizing training sessions and workshops for employees.
Assist in developing and updating training materials and programs.
Track and report on training attendance and feedback.
HR Projects:
Participate in various HR projects, such as performance management, employee surveys, and policy updates.
Conduct research on HR best practices and emerging trends.
Provide recommendations based on research and analysis to improve HR processes.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in human resources and organizational development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR software (e.g., Workday, ADP) is a plus.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is beneficial.
Basic understanding of HR principles, labor laws, and employment regulations.
Familiarity with social media and online platforms for recruitment and employee engagement.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
