Here are some of the responsibilities of an HR recruiter:
  • Recruitment planning: Design recruitment plans, which may include joining career fairs, sending emails, and posting on social media and job sites
  • Sourcing candidates: Research and reach out to potential candidates through social media, job boards, and networking events
  • Screening applications: Filter applications and screen resumes
  • Interviewing: Schedule interviews, oversee preparation of interview questions, and assist with the interview process
  • Reference and background checks: Perform reference and background checks
  • Negotiating job offers: Negotiate job offers
  • Tracking hiring metrics: Track hiring metrics
  • Maintaining relationships: Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
To succeed in this role, you should have a sound knowledge of sourcing techniques and experience in conducting various types of interviews. You should also have a bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least two years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
