Job Title: HR Executive (Garment Industry) Preferred Candidates: Hostlers Only Educational Qualification: MBA, MSW or Any Basic Degree Experience: 5 years and above Language proficiency: Hindi and English mandatory Location Preference: Tamil Nadu : As an HR Executive in the Garment Industry, you will play a pivotal role in managing human resources functions specific to the unique challenges and dynamics of the apparel sector. We are seeking candidates who are hostel residents, hold an MBA or MSW degree, and are based in Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition: Conducting recruitment activities for various roles within the garment industry, such as designers, production staff, quality control, and administrative positions.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborating with department heads to assess staffing needs and planning for seasonal fluctuations in workforce requirements.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations related to the garment manufacturing sector.
  • Training and Development: Implementing training programs to enhance the skills of the workforce, with a focus on industry-specific skills and safety training.
  • Health and Safety: Overseeing health and safety initiatives to ensure a secure working environment for all employees, particularly in a manufacturing setting.
  • Employee Engagement: Developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee morale, motivation, and satisfaction within the garment industry context.
  • Wage and Benefits Administration: Managing compensation and benefits programs, including piece-rate systems and other industry-specific remuneration models.
  • Hostel Management: Coordinating with hostel facilities to meet the accommodation needs of hostel-residing employees, considering the seasonal nature of the industry.
  • Union Relations: Handling employee relations and engagement, particularly in relation to unions that may be prevalent in the garment industry.
  • Performance Management: Implementing performance appraisal systems that align with the production and quality metrics of the garment manufacturing process.
Qualifications:
  • MBA or MSW in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5 year or more of HR experience in the garment or manufacturing industry.
  • Handling End to End Wages and Compensation and EPFO, ESIC Individually.
  • Good Social Compliance Knowledge required.
  • Understanding of labor laws and regulations specific to the garment sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the dynamic and seasonal nature of the garment industry.
