About this opportunity

Align Technology is looking for an HRBP, who will manage and guide resource planning, competency assessment, performance management, talent retention, career planning, and development. He/she will be actively participating in building culture of Learning, Agility and Continuous Improvement.

The candidate should have good exposure in employee engagement, OD Interventions, Culture Building, must be self driven professional who can Ideate, implement & achieve executional excellence.

This position will be initially based in Hyderabad, and later shifted to Bangalore.

In this role, you will

  • Driving employee engagement activities across India Align prioritizing Technology domain.
  • Supporting Operations in any Ad-hoc / calendarized engagement activity covering R&R, Talent management for respective vertical etc
  • Implementing design and execution of organization development projects in consultation with business
  • Demonstrating expertise in improving employee experience, conducting Assessment/Development Centres/IDPs, PIPs
  • Conducting Exit Interviews for resigned employees and escalate issues, if any, arising out of exit interview.
  • Highlighting any anomalies / deviations noted within the process to Reporting Supervisor for necessary action
  • Provide guidance to leaders on a wide variety of people related matters, including employee relations, HR processes and/or company guidelines and/or programs
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure line managers are up to date with changes to any policies
  • Understand the HR risk environment, identify and mitigate potential HR risks and support managers to create a positive employee environment
  • Lead the implementation of all talent, leadership and team planning processes, policies, and procedures at the site & participate actively in Talent Review Process. Participate in discussion with Manager on succession planning, leadership selection and assessment, leadership development planning and the sites annual organizational development readiness plan.
  • Create & Recommend engagement plans for HIPOS & collaborates with Country Lead HR with Plans. Participate in Focus Group discussion related to Talent Retention. Connect with Functional managers & understand their needs related to talent engagement & Consolidate Capability building plan for respective teams.
  • Organizational Design, Change Management, and Business Partnering, compensation and benefits administration.
  • Act as organizations conscience by advocating practices that improve team effectiveness, systems thinking, employee engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Educate managers on individual development best practices and facilitates the overall implementation of career mapping of high potentials, emerging leaders
  • Provide HR leadership, skill and proficiency in working closely with business leaders and employees to formulate goals and practices that support business unit strategies.
  • Diagnose individual, team and organization issues and recommend appropriate interventions. Provide HR expertise and/or partner with functional HR Specialist - TA /Ops teams in various areas such as Talent acquisition, Organizational development, Employee relations, etc.
  • Creating periodic dashboard, frequent usage of PowerBi, Data Analysis & representation.
In this role, youll need
  • Full Time MBA/ PGDBM in HR from reputed institute.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in HR with Background of Talent Management or OD interventions that includes management/leadership development and talent review process exposures.
  • Flexibility to work across the board with Managers based in US & EMEA, Israel in their respective time zones
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal direction from manager.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & Ability to do Critical Thinking. Have ability to Analyze data.
  • Demonstrated orientation to understanding the business strategy, and the ability to apply talent management process and tools to support & meet strategic business objectives.
  • Should be a result-oriented, self-starter, proactive, strong motivator, collaborative, focused on team cohesion, dynamics & constantly improve quality of performance
  • Have close eye for detail, accuracy, follow-through and excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Strong process orientation & ability to work with data. Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing continuous process improvements and automation.
  • High Proficiency level in Excel & Power point
