Job Description


Overview:The Deputy Manager - HR - Role primary objective is to ensure the organization\'s policies, and procedures comply with relevant HR laws, regulations, and industry standards.This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing internal policies and procedures that align with statutory regulations.Need to monitor audits to ensure ongoing compliance is within purview. Report their findings to senior management when necessary and regulatory authorities.Collaboration with various departments and stakeholders ( legal, controls, complainces vendor and internal teams) is essential for effective compliance management. Need to communicate compliance requirements, changes, and best practices across the organization.Avoid the organization legal penalties and reputational damage.The role need to safeguard the organization from legal and regulatory risks and help prevent legal disputes, regulatory fines, and other negative consequences that can result from non-compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of statutory compliance related information.
  • Generate reports for senior management, board of directors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish mechanisms for stakeholders to report compliance concerns or violations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance efforts into business operations.
  • Identify potential compliance risks across various aspects of the organization\'s HR operations and develop, implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and prevent non-compliance.
  • Establish processes to monitor and audit the organization\'s activities for compliance.
  • Analyse audit findings maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audits, and corrective actions taken.
  • Align on the compliance checklist shared by controls / legal team and ensure 100% complied.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to the compliance framework.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other relevant external stakeholders.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging regulations, and best practices.
  • Vendor Audits - Performing audits for all HR Operation vendors along with Aparajitha and ensure 100% compliance.
  • Apprentices process ( Input , Collating Attendance and validating and processing and ensuring apprentice program is maintained as per legal requirements )
Qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding of HR Labour and Municipal laws, regulations, and industry standards applicable to the organization\'s operations.
  • Ability to implement effective compliance policies and procedures that align with legal requirements and business objectives.
  • A meticulous approach to reviewing processes, documents, and data to identify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
  • Ability to work across departments to promote a culture of compliance and establish good working relationships.
  • Capability to compile and present compliance reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in HR Compliances and stake holder management and engagement
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated track record of strong service delivery
  • Technical / Functional Skills & Knowledge of HR Tools and Interfaces
