SUMMARYWe are looking for an HR Associate (L&D and Employee Engagement) to drive learning initiatives and foster a positive work environment. The role involves coordinating training programs, managing employee engagement activities, and supporting onboarding and recognition efforts. Key responsibilities include organizing events, administering feedback tools, maintaining training records, and contributing to diversity and inclusion initiatives.Location: New DelhiABOUT USWadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health, agriculture, education, and urban development in underserved communities in the global south. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.In the Press:ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESLearning and Development (L&D):

  • Training Coordination: Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and organize training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
  • Training Calendar Management: Create and maintain an annual training calendar, ensuring timely implementation of learning initiatives.
  • Onboarding Programs: Assist in designing and delivering effective onboarding programs for new hires to familiarize them with company policies, culture, and processes.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Gather post-training feedback, analyze results, and suggest improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external training vendors and facilitators to deliver specialized programs when needed.
  • Learning Platforms: Administer and manage the company's e-learning platforms, ensuring all employees have access to necessary resources.
Employee Engagement:
  • Engagement Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute employee engagement activities such as team-building events, cultural celebrations, wellness initiatives, and other recognition programs.
  • Feedback Mechanisms: Administer employee surveys, pulse checks, and feedback tools to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement levels.
  • Recognition Programs: Support the design and management of recognition and rewards programs to celebrate employee contributions and achievements.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication channels, including newsletters, emails, and other platforms, to promote engagement initiatives and keep employees informed.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Collaborate on initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
General HR Support:
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation of HR policies related to L&D and employee engagement.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of training programs, employee participation, and engagement activities.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and insights on training effectiveness, participation rates, and engagement metrics to inform HR strategies.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Certification in Learning & Development, HR Management, or related areas (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in L&D, employee engagement, or a similar HR role.
  • Familiarity with employee engagement platforms, e-learning tools, and training software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and event planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and engagement levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
