We are seeking a diligent and organized HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department, assist with various HR functions, and ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Prepare and process HR documents, including employment contracts, onboarding materials, and termination paperwork.
Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR events.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientations are scheduled.
Employee Relations:
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
Benefits and Compensation:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs.
Support payroll processing by providing necessary information and resolving any related issues.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records.
Assist in preparing HR reports and documents for audits and inspections.
Training and Development:
Coordinate employee training sessions and development programs.
Maintain training records and track employee participation.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and employee experience.
Assist in organizing and executing company events and activities.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
Previous experience in an administrative or HR role is preferred.
Familiarity with HR software and tools is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
