Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our HR Team in Mohali, India, and assist with various HR processes specific to our US and Indian Office . The ideal candidate will be familiar with US & Indian HR practices and regulations and possess excellent organizational and administrative skills to ensure the smooth functioning of HR operations. Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks. \xc2\xb7 Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all required paperwork is completed accurately. \xc2\xb7 Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. \xc2\xb7 Process employee transactions related to payroll, benefits enrollment, leaves of absence, and other HR-related matters. \xc2\xb7 Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. \xc2\xb7 Support employee relations activities, including handling inquiries, grievances, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. \xc2\xb7 Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions and workshops for employees on various HR-related topics. \xc2\xb7 Generate HR reports and analytics as needed, providing insights to support decision-making processes. \xc2\xb7 Stay updated on changes in US labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. \xc2\xb7 Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies inventory. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. \xc2\xb7 Prior experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with US HR practices, laws, and regulations is essential. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels. \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. \xc2\xb7 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. \xc2\xb7 Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
