We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Coordinator specializing in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and coordination of HPLC instruments and related activities in the laboratory. This role requires a strong background in HPLC techniques, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with laboratory staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instrument Operation and Maintenance:
• Operate HPLC instruments to perform routine and specialized analyses.
• Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of HPLC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HPLC instruments.
• Coordination and Scheduling:
• Coordinate the use and scheduling of HPLC instruments to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of instrument usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Data Management and Reporting:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret HPLC data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on HPLC analyses and instrument performance.
• Maintain proper documentation of all HPLC-related activities and results.
• Training and Support:
• Train laboratory staff on the proper use and maintenance of HPLC instruments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff regarding HPLC methodologies.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in HPLC technology and best practices.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all HPLC analyses meet the required quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to HPLC operations.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience:
• Proven experience with HPLC operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in an analytical or quality control role.
• Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of HPLC techniques and instrumentation.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis and report preparation.
• Strong communication and training skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Working Conditions:
