JOB DESCRIPTION : HPCR Engineer is directly responsible for Design & Implementation of High performance Control Room graphic for all type of projects. Engage in Implementation and Testing phases Active participation during Design, Pre-FAT, FAT, and commissioning stages Primary Duties and Accountabilities: Implementation of graphics from sketches/snapshots Concepts of greyscale graphics Graphics - storyboard updates Dynamization of graphics Alarm Rationalization / Characterization Creation/modification of Ovation Internal Point Database Implementation of Simulation logics for First-Pass Test Design/Implementation of controls from SAMA /Functional diagrams Testing of implemented controls and graphics & troubleshooting while testing Follow Department Quality processes and procedures Use various Productivity tools such as DBID tool, Audit Tool, Database Productivity Tool, Device builder etc. Conversion of controls and graphics of Third Party DCS/PLC systems to Ovation Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) activities Identifying and communicating areas of potential process and design improvements to project manager Compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements Working with contractors / sub-contractors Fostering smooth collaboration and communication with all project stakeholders (internal project teams, customer, and on-site contractors) TECHNICAL / PROFESSIONAL: Knowledge of Power Plant Process Understanding of SAMA/Functional diagrams Knowledge of MS-Visio, MS-Access, MS-Excel, Mail Merger, Power BI, etc.. Knowledge of Third-Party Communication Protocols Knowledge of DCS/PLC HW structure Knowledge of Logic & Graphics of Third Party DCS/PLC Tie-Back Simulation, Testing & Troubleshooting Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Basic knowledge of Distributed Control Systems and Power Plant/ Water and Wastewater process EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Bachelor\'s in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Power Engineering with 2- 8 year of experience in process industry preferably in power plant
