Lenovo is listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange under Lenovo Group Limited (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY).To find out more visit and read about the latest news via our .Description and RequirementsPosition Description:Lenovo is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect who will play a key role in supporting the development and deployment of IaaS and PaaS-related service offerings.The chosen candidate will be part of Lenovo Solutions & Services Group (SSG) as a member of the Center of Excellence team, driving service offering design and definition for our Professional Services, Managed Services, and TruScale Services businesses.xc2xb7This role is primarily internal but includes some customer-facing work.xc2xb7This is a remote-only role.In this role you will:xc2xb7Support the Hybrid Cloud Services Practice in developing and delivering IaaS and PaaS service offerings.xc2xb7Work with the world's largest Enterprise and Cloud companies and drive the "voice of the Enterprise" (customer and market requirements) into the product roadmap and new technology development.xc2xb7Develop/Architect full-stack (infrastructure + application) Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Solutions with large ecosystem Partners and customers.xc2xb7Demonstrate a strong understanding of Enterprise and Cloud Solution stacks that span computer, networking, storage, infrastructure, and application management and orchestration.xc2xb7Strong background in virtualization, networking, security, and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes), and high-value workloads/Enterprise applications, focusing on databases, analytics, and AI.xc2xb7Work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced team environment.xc2xb7Work across internal teams, divisions, and external partners to develop and deliver solutions that drive new technology innovations and revenue for Intel.xc2xb7Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, and be willing to engage and interface with all levels of an organization.xc2xb7Drive senior-level relationships across Large Enterprises, Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), OEMs, System Integrators, and other ecosystem partners.xc2xb7Be the technical lead for VMWare-based IaaS and PaaS offerings, working closely with the Hybrid Cloud Practice leader throughout the service offering lifecycle, including:oAssisting in the creation of new service offerings, starting with participation in the brainstorming phase, and providing expert guidanceoAssisting/leading early implementations with Technical Consultantsxc2xb7Presentation delivery in support of:oOur offering development processoField enablement/trainingoService delivery activitiesxc2xb7Assist in documentation of project requirements, statements of work, and service descriptionsxc2xb7Some business partner interactionQualifications:xc2xb7Bachelor's degree, MBA, or equivalent experience requiredxc2xb77+ years of Cloud Architecting experience of large-scale systems with a minimum of 5+ years of experience with at least one cloud platform like VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP.xc2xb7Proven experience with designing, developing and delivering global scale platforms for Software-defined data centers, containers technologies in the industry (Docker, Kubernetes, Calico, etc), DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools.xc2xb7Should have designed and implemented IaaS and PaaS solutions and platforms to cater to SLA requirements - multi-AZ/ multi-site architecture. (RTO/RPO objectives)xc2xb7Have a strong background in VMWare virtualization, networking, security, containerization technologies, devops, automation, and high-value workloads/Enterprise applications.xc2xb7VCDX - VMWare Certified Design Expert, Cloud Management and Automation.Preferred Skills:xc2xb7Experience building infrastructure strategy and reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios.xc2xb7Enterprise IT experience, including hands-on infrastructure hardware and application software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture.xc2xb7Experience in the design, implementation, and deployment of highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.xc2xb7Programming/Scripting experience with Yaml, Python, Shell; configuration management/orchestration tools like Terraform, Saltstack, Ansible, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitOps, etc.xc2xb7Understanding of Load Balancers, Software-defined networks (subnets, NATs, Gateways), CDN, HTTP1/2, Storage systems, Security (Authentication/Authorization, SSL); Firewall (L4-7), CDN, etc.xc2xb7Understanding of Infrastructure & Application monitoringxc2xb7Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering techniquesxc2xb7Experience in the definition, scoping, selling, delivery, and management of cloud infrastructure migration, implementation, operations, and optimization initiativesxc2xb7Market experience in one or more of the following: financial services, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing, energy, consumer products, high-tech, media & entertainment, and automotivexc2xb7Understanding of the relationship between various open-source software and hardware componentsxc2xb7Have a systems integrator background with experience in direct/channel.xc2xb7Deep dive understanding of one or more specific technology areas is a plusxc2xb7Industry knowledge and experience with cloud-native architectures, services-based architecture, container-based solutions development, delivery, and operations as deployed for a variety of environments and use casesxc2xb7Demonstrated ability to articulate technical issues, resolutions, and recommendations for customers, development teams, and leadershipxc2xb7Experience training others in understanding and using VMWare hybrid cloud solutions.xc2xb7Experience working in a customer-facing IaaS and PaaS environment preferred.xc2xb7TOGAF 9 Certified, TOGAF Business Architecture preferred.Additional Locations:
