Recruitment of New Housekeeping Staff: You will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and selecting suitable candidates to join our housekeeping team. This involves posting job advertisements, conducting interviews, and coordinating with the HR department for the hiring process.
Management of Cleaning Staff: You will oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that they perform their duties efficiently and effectively. This includes assigning tasks, providing training when necessary, and monitoring their performance.
Stock Keeping and Ordering: You will be in charge of maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will place orders for replenishment as needed, ensuring that adequate supplies are always available.
Attendance Management: It will be your responsibility to monitor the attendance of housekeeping staff, including tracking their hours worked and managing any attendance-related issues that may arise.
Staff Arrangement: In the event of staff absenteeism or unexpected vacancies, you will be required to rearrange the work schedule and assign tasks to ensure that adequate coverage is maintained at all times.
Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs for new and existing housekeeping staff. Train employees on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment and chemicals. Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
