• To check whether the hospital area/wards/washrooms are cleaned properly.
• To assign duties for the house keeping staffs.
• To check wards and common areas, including stairways and waiting areas, for cleanliness.
• To manage Housekeeping Team.
• To Supervise, train, and lead the housekeeping staff.
• To Ensure the efficient use and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
• Conducting regular inspections/rounds of hospital to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and adherence to established standards.
• Ensure adherence to strict cleaning and sanitation protocols throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, operating rooms, waiting areas, and administrative offices.
• Manage inventory and stock of cleaning supplies, disinfectants, and personal protective equipment (PPE) necessary for housekeeping tasks.
• Ensure proper storage, usage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans related to housekeeping operations, such as spillage of hazardous materials or infection outbreaks.
• Respond to patient and staff requests related to housekeeping services promptly and effectively
• Conduct meetings regularly for housekeeping staff to enhance skills, knowledge of infection control.
