Job Summary:
Oversee and coordinate housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervision:
• Direct daily housekeeping activities and inspect work.
• Train and evaluate staff.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular inspections and address issues.
• Handle complaints promptly.
• Inventory Management:
• Maintain and order cleaning supplies.
• Monitor and control department expenses.
• Scheduling:
• Develop staff schedules and oversee special projects.
• Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety procedures.
• Train staff on proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Communication:
• Coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain accurate records and submit reports.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management education is a plus.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
Physical Requirements:
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
