Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee and ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization across our property. The ideal candidate will lead the housekeeping team, manage daily operations, and ensure guest satisfaction through a spotless and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervision and Team Leadership:
• Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Supervise and guide housekeeping staff to maintain high standards.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.
2. Quality Control:
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards.
• Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.
3. Training and Development:
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, safety measures, and guest interaction.
• Ensure staff adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
4. Inventory Management:
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of cleaning products and amenities.
5. Health and Safety Compliance:
• Enforce adherence to health and safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure fire safety and evacuation protocols are understood by staff.
6. Collaboration:
• Coordinate with other departments, including front desk and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and ensure smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with the housekeeping manager regarding operational challenges and solutions.
7. Guest Satisfaction:
• Focus on providing a welcoming and clean environment that enhances guest experience.
Requirements
1. Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (hospitality experience preferred).
2. Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and housekeeping protocols.
3. Knowledge:
• Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety standards in hospitality.
4. Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent (certification in hospitality management is a plus).
