We are seeking a Housekeeping Staff member to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel, ensuring a pristine and welcoming environment for our guests. If you have a passion for cleanliness, attention to detail, and delivering excellent service, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities :
• Room Cleaning & Maintenance :
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas (lobbies, hallways, staircases) to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, towels, and replenish room amenities (toiletries, paper products, etc.).
• Dust, polish, and vacuum furniture, fixtures, and floors, ensuring all areas are spotless and hygienic.
• Guest Satisfaction :
• Ensure rooms are prepared for new guests, checking for cleanliness and readiness before guest arrival.
• Handle guest requests, such as providing extra towels or items, in a prompt and professional manner.
• Ensure guests' privacy and security by maintaining confidentiality regarding their personal belongings.
• Inventory Management :
• Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies (cleaning products, linens, etc.), ensuring availability and proper stock levels.
• Report any shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Laundry Support :
• Collect, sort, and manage laundry items, including bed linens and towels.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and distributed to appropriate areas.
• Health & Safety Compliance :
• Follow safety protocols for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the housekeeping supervisor or maintenance team.
• Team Collaboration :
• Work closely with other housekeeping and hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with any additional tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications :
• Experience :
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or similar setting is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to train and learn new cleaning techniques and standards.
• Skills :
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy items.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
