A Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department in the Villas. Position Title: Housekeeping Manager Location: Chennai Job Summary: The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of the establishment. To supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that they perform their duties efficiently and to the highest standards. The Housekeeping Manager also coordinates with other departments to meet guest needs and maintain a smooth operation. Responsibilities: 1. Staff Management: - Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff. - Assign duties and schedules to ensure adequate coverage. - Motivate and inspire team members to maintain high levels of performance. - Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement. 2. Operations Management: - Develop and implement cleaning procedures and standards. - Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards. - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. 3. Quality Assurance: - Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality standards. - Address guest complaints and ensure timely resolution. 4. Budget Management: - Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget. - Control costs by monitoring expenses and optimizing resource utilization. - Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. 5. Training and Development: - Provide ongoing training to housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service skills. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. 6. Safety and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. - Maintain records of cleaning activities and inspections for regulatory compliance. Qualifications: - Minimum 5years experience in housekeeping management in the hospitality industry. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Excellent organizational and time management abilities. - Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals. - Familiarity with health and safety regulations. - Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred) CONTACT - Sarah 9884972724.
