Need a HK Senior HOD who can independently and effectively handle staff briefing, guests complaints, housekeeping inventories, store handling, making online reports and emails hands on experience on IDS / Hotelogix software, team training, team job task allocation on daily basis, duty roasters planning as per busy or high occupancy days, decide cleaning schedule, can coordinate with vendors, can do inventory, can handle guests complaints independently with good confidence. Coordinates staffing schedules to ensure the proper cleaning of offices, public areas, residents rooms and community grounds. Must have worked already at Managerial level or senior HK executive level for min 5 years in good hotels of more than 40 rooms. Need to join immediately / urgently. Supervises all housekeeping employees, hires new employees as needed, discharges employees when necessary and take disciplinary actions when policies are not followed. Evaluates employees in order to upgrade them when openings arise. Plans the work for the housekeeping department and distributes assignments accordingly. Assigns regular duties and special duties for the housekeeping staff. Schedulesemployees and assigns extra days off according to occupancyforecast. Maintains a time logbook of all employees within the department. Recruit and train new employees. Assigns new employees to work with experienced help. Checks on the work of these employees occasionally and observes the report made by the supervisors. Approves all supply requisitions, such as those for spreads and bathroom rugs. Maintains a lost-and-found department and is responsible for all lost-and-found items. Determines the rightful owner and send correspondences. Responsible for cleanliness, orderliness and appearance of the entire Hotel. Ensure that rooms are made as per company standard. Prepare Annual Housekeeping Budget. Maintain parstock of guestsupplies, cleaning supplies, linen and uniform. Organize inventories with Accountsand General Store for linen, uniform and fixed assets. Pay particular attention while organizing pest eradication activities. Develop and implement housekeeping systems and procedures Prepare reports for management information. Assist Purchase department in selecting suppliers for items related to Housekeeping. Attending and resolving guest complaints. Verification of supplies consignments. Daily inspection of public areasand employees locker rooms. Daily briefing of Supervisors/ Executives. Coordinatingthe preventive maintenanceschedule of rooms and a public area with the maintenance department. Immediately attending to guest requests.
Perform any other reasonable job duties as prescribed by the Operation Manager or Hotel Management during season and off-season time.
