Job Description

Key responsibilities of a restaurant housekeeper :

General Cleaning:

Sweeping and mopping floors in dining areas, restrooms, and kitchen Wiping down tables and chairs after each customer Dusting furniture and fixtures Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Emptying trash cans and replacing liners

Surface Cleaning:

Wiping down countertops, highchairs, and other surfaces Cleaning and sanitizing food prep areas in the kitchen Cleaning and disinfecting door handles and high-touch areas

Inventory Management:

Stocking restrooms with paper towels, soap, and toilet paper Replenishing cleaning supplies like disinfectants, mops, and brooms

Maintenance:

Reporting any damage or maintenance issues to the supervisor Cleaning and maintaining floor mats Spot cleaning spills and messes promptly
Required skills and qualities:

Attention to detail:

Ability to thoroughly clean and maintain a high standard of cleanliness

Physical stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks

Time management:

Efficiently completing cleaning tasks within designated timeframes

Basic cleaning knowledge:

Understanding of proper cleaning techniques and chemical usage

Teamwork:

Collaborating with other staff to maintain a clean restaurant

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
