Job Brief



We're looking for a meticulous and dedicated Hotel Steward to join our team. As a Hotel Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in various areas of the hotel, including kitchens, dining areas, and public spaces.



The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding hygiene standards.



Responsibilities



Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Clean and maintain public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, and dining areas

Dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures

Assist in the setup and breakdown of events and banquets

Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to maintain efficient workflow

Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed

Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting

Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines

Uphold hygiene and safety standards throughout the hotel

Assist in unloading and storing deliveries as needed

Requirements and Skills



Previous experience as a Hotel Steward or in a similar role is preferred

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads

Knowledge of cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Understanding of health and safety regulations in a hotel setting

Initiative to identify and address cleaning needs proactively

Commitment to maintaining a positive and organized work environment

Salary 1 Lac 75 Thousand To 2 Lac 50 Thousand P.A.
