Key Responsibilities
• Guest Services: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all guest requirements are met.
• Reservations: Manage reservations through various booking systems. Ensure accurate recording and prompt confirmation of bookings.
• Customer Assistance: Provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions. Assist guests with inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
• Communication: Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Direct calls to appropriate departments as needed.
• Billing and Payments: Handle cash and card transactions accurately. Prepare bills and process payments efficiently.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest interactions. Update guest profiles and preferences.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Report any issues or concerns to the management promptly.
• Security and Safety: Monitor and ensure the safety and security of the hotel's premises. Follow protocols for emergency situations.
Qualifications
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree or diploma in hospitality management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, IDS).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with a calm demeanor.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Hindi. Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
Working Conditions
