Position Title: Hotel Management Trainee Location: Various locations in the United States Duration: 1 year Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Hotel Management Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in various departments within our [3/4/5]-star hotel(s), providing valuable insight into the operations and management of a luxury hospitality establishment. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the intern will have the opportunity to contribute to daily operations, learn industry best practices, and gain exposure to diverse aspects of hotel management. Key Responsibilities:
Rotate through different departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Sales and Marketing, and Finance to gain a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations.
Assist department heads and supervisors in daily tasks, including but not limited to guest services, room reservations, inventory management, event planning, and financial reporting.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and special projects as assigned.
Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional guest experiences and uphold brand standards.
Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and contribute ideas for operational enhancements.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations to maintain a professional and secure environment for guests and employees.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, etc.) or recent graduate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
Prior hospitality experience or relevant internships is a plus, but not required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
