The Hotel Business Development (BD) Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the hotel's market presence by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies. The position is ideal for a dynamic and motivated professional with a strong background in sales and business development within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and industry trends.
• Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to inform business strategies.
• Business Development:
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and engage potential corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Sales and Revenue Generation:
• Create and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue from room bookings, events, and other hotel services.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients to secure new business.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Marketing and Promotions:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel and generate leads.
• Utilize social media and digital platforms to enhance the hotel's visibility and attract new clients.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Organize and host site visits, presentations, and client meetings.
• Strategic Partnerships:
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local businesses, tourism boards, and other organizations to create mutually beneficial opportunities.
• Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality market and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to travel and attend events as required.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily office-based with regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
• May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate client needs and events.
• Fast-paced environment requiring strong organizational and time-management skills.

Salary:
