Indie Stays Mumbai is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service quality.
Responsibilities:
• Guest Services:
• Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner, striving to exceed expectations.
• Coordinate guest check-in and check-out procedures, including managing room assignments and billing processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.
• Assist with guest reservations, transportation arrangements, and other concierge services as needed.
• Operations Management:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.
• Monitor occupancy levels and room availability, making adjustments to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration across all areas of the hotel.
• Address any operational issues or emergencies promptly and effectively, following established procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of hotel activities, including guest interactions, incidents, and financial transactions.
• Staff Supervision:
• Supervise and motivate hotel staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to foster a positive work environment.
• Schedule and allocate tasks to ensure adequate coverage and optimal performance of hotel operations.
• Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations to enhance staff skills and productivity.
• Enforce company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
• Safety and Security:
• Implement and enforce safety and security protocols to protect guests, employees, and hotel assets.
• Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, such as fire alarms or medical emergencies, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in hotel operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Sound knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems.
• Familiarity with safety and security procedures, including emergency response protocols.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable.
