•Position Summary: •
We are looking for a dynamic hostess who will be the first point of contact for our guests. hostess responsibilities include greeting guests, providing accurate wait times, coordinating with Manager/Assistant Manager for table availability, and assisting guests to the waiting area. For this role, you should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a
positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.
•Duties and responsibilities: •
1. Greeting guests as they enter and putting them on a waiting list, as necessary.
2. Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
3. Manage reservations.
4. Escort customers to waiting areas.
5. Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions.
6. Greet customers upon their departure.
7. Coordinate with wait staff/assistant manager/manager about available seating options.
8. Maintain a clean reception/podium area.
9. Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g., children, elderly).
10. Answer incoming calls, taking reservations, and address customers' queries.
11. Responding to guests' issues and helping to resolve them.
12. A knowledge of the menu and seafood availability.
13. Assist wait staff/assistant manager/manager as needed.
14. Providing great customer service.
15. Perform other duties as well as other duties as requested by the management.
•Requirements: •
1. Able to communicate i.e., read, write, speak, and listen clearly.
2. Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
3. Must demonstrate strong knowledge of F&B.
4. A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff.
5. Does high-quality work while unsupervised.
6. Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
7. Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
8. Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
9. Able to work in a busy restaurant environment.
10. Restaurant experience is a plus.
Job Timings: Should be available to work in a break shift between 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM to 11 PM Monday through Sunday with one weekly off.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ?17,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
