Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting and Seating Guests:
• Welcome guests warmly as they enter the cafe.
• Manage the seating chart and guide customers to their tables promptly.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Managing Reservations:
• Handle phone calls and online reservations professionally.
• Coordinate seating to minimize wait times and maximize table usage.
• Customer Service:
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests with professionalism.
• Assist with takeaway or delivery orders if necessary.
• Provide a friendly and helpful attitude to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordination with Staff:
• Communicate effectively with servers, baristas, and the kitchen team to ensure a seamless service flow.
• Inform the team about guest preferences, allergies, or special occasions.
• Maintaining a Clean and Organized Environment:
• Ensure the hostess station is clean, stocked, and presentable.
• Monitor the dining area to maintain a pleasant atmosphere.
• Promoting the Cafe:
• Be knowledgeable about the cafe's offerings, including menu items, promotions, and events.
• Engage with guests to build rapport and encourage repeat visits.
