: Tamil-Speaking Hostess/Stewards

Location: Tandoori Tamashaa, Ilara Hotels

Department: Food & Beverage (Fine Dining Restaurant)

Reports To: Tamil Captain/Manager

Role Summary

The Tamil-speaking Hostess/Stewards will be the face of Tandoori Tamashaa, ensuring a warm welcome for guests and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidates are fluent in Tamil, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities (Hostess)

• Greet and welcome guests warmly in Tamil and English.
• Manage guest reservations and seating arrangements.
• Communicate menu highlights and restaurant specialties effectively.
• Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities (Stewards)

• Serve food and beverages to guests in an elegant and efficient manner.
• Assist in explaining menu items and making recommendations.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for accurate order delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.

Qualifications & Skills

• Fluent in Tamil and English (additional languages are a plus).
• 1+ year of experience in a restaurant or hotel service role (preferred).
• Polished appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards is an advantage.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Conditions

• Shift-based work, including weekends and holidays.
• Physically demanding role, involving standing for extended periods.
