Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Assistant at Tortoise Livelihood(Zolocrust) in Jaipur. The role involves food preparation, food service, customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of food & beverage services on-site.

• Greeting the guests when they enter and leave.
• Answering guest calls/ Instagram queries and closing sale.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Manage reservations.
• Seating the customers at their seats or waiting at the lobby (manage wait-list) and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Communicating wait times to guests.
• Accommodating the customer's requests as much as possible and permissible by the rules and policies of the restaurant.
• Take feedback from guests.
• Engaging with guests while they are waiting.
• Addressing any queries or complaints and resolving it efficiently.
• Ensuring adequate number of team members are available in the guest area.
• Helping with table clearance and service (if needed).
• Have good knowledge of the menu and specials.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly).

Qualifications

• Food Preparation and Food Service skills
• Customer Service and Communication skills
• Experience with food and beverage in a professional setting
• Attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management
• Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred
