Job Summary:

The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at the restaurant, responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience. They manage reservations, guide guests to their tables, and ensure smooth seating operations while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Reception:
• Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Confirm reservations or manage walk-ins efficiently.
• Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus.
• Reservation Management:
• Handle phone calls and online bookings for reservations.
• Maintain an accurate seating chart and waitlist during busy times.
• Inform guests of estimated wait times and updates as necessary.
• Coordination & Communication:
• Work closely with servers and managers to ensure smooth table turnover.
• Communicate special requests, dietary preferences, or celebrations to the team.
• Handle guest inquiries about the menu, hours, or policies.
• Ambiance & Cleanliness:
• Ensure the entrance, host stand, and dining area are clean and inviting.
• Monitor the dining room to maintain an organized and pleasant atmosphere.
• Address minor issues promptly or escalate them to the manager.
• Customer Service:
• Provide personalized attention to ensure guests feel valued.
• Resolve complaints or direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
