•Job Summary:•
A Hospitality Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of hospitality professionals. This role focuses on developing the abilities of hotel staff, restaurant workers, event coordinators, and other industry professionals to provide exceptional customer experiences and maintain high standards of service.
•Key Responsibilities:•
1. •Training Needs Assessment:• Identify training needs through observations, surveys, and feedback from managers and employees.
2. •Curriculum Development:• Create and update training programs, manuals, and materials to reflect industry best practices and company standards.
3. •Training Delivery:• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and coaching sessions for various hospitality roles.
4. •Performance Assessment:• Evaluate trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and recommend further training or development opportunities.
5. •Program Evaluation:• Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
6. •Industry Knowledge:• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.
7. •Collaboration:• Work with department heads, managers, and other trainers to ensure training aligns with company objectives and standards.
8. •Training Administration:• Manage training schedules, records, and budgets to ensure efficient program delivery.
•Required Skills and Qualifications:•
1. •Hospitality Industry Experience:• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a hospitality role, preferably in training or operations.
2. •Training and Development:• Proven experience in training delivery, design, and evaluation.
3. •Communication and Presentation:• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
4. •Industry Knowledge:• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, customer service standards, and industry best practices.
5. •Certifications:• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CHT, CHA, CMP) are desirable.
6. •Education:• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Training and Development, or a related field.
7. •Soft Skills:• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.

1. •Work Environment:• Typically works in a training room, office, or hospitality setting.
2. •Travel:• May require occasional travel to deliver training programs at various locations.
