Hospital Ward Technician
Job Description
JOB DUTIES
Ward Technician must assist with the transport of patients or equipment or help patients with tasks such as eating or showering.
To provide help with manual tasks like lifting or turning patients
Maintain clean and prepare wheelchairs, trolleys and other equipment
Assist in the maintenance of stocks of linen and non-medical supplies o
Assist in ltransporting Patients in wheelchairs, stretches or on movable beds between wards and departments
Clean rooms such as bathrooms, showers, utility rooms and offices and clean interior windows o
Clean equipment in the pan room such as pan trolleys, buckets, pans, bowls, suction bottles and tubing, commodes, wheel chairs and seats, and rinse trays
Accompany patients, who are ready for discharge, to the central waiting area o Transport equipment, X-rays, patient records and deceased patients between wards, departments, theatres
Must be knowledgeable of hospital health and safety procedures , and basic patient care
Must be aware of hospital and staff rules
Familiar with medical terminology and first aid
Knowledgeable of hygiene and sterilization requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: From ?12,000.00 per month
