• Key Responsibilities
• Patient Reception & Registration:
• Greet patients and visitors warmly upon arrival.
• Register patients, verify their information, and maintain accurate records in the hospital management system.
• Scheduling Appointments:
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
• Inform patients of their appointment details and address any rescheduling or cancellations.
• Communication & Coordination:
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to the appropriate departments.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding patient flow and schedules.
• Administrative Duties:
• Handle billing and payment processing for patients.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information as per hospital policies and legal regulations.
• Support Services:
• Assist patients with completing forms and navigating hospital facilities.
• Provide updates to patients and families about wait times or procedures when required.
• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certification in medical administration or related field (preferred).
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting (preferred).
